Kiwanis of Park Ridge
Founded in 1925, Kiwanis of Park Ridge has been an active and vibrant park of the Park Ridge community for nearly 100 years!
- We are a group of more than 50 members, who raise funds and volunteer for local nonprofit organizations that work to enhance the lives of children, teens, and young adults in the Park Ridge community.
- Our motto "Kids First" stems from our passion to ensure that kids are safe, confident, and cared for.
- We model good citizenship and volunteer our time and talents to support strong families and positive action for kids - our future leaders! One of the ways we do that is through supporting the Maine South High School Kiwanis Key Club and M-NASR Aktion Club (a service club for teens and adults with disabilities).
- Each year we provide community service opportunities at local charity events and service projects to support leadership development. We provide college scholarships to Key Club seniors who demonstrate outstanding community service.
- Local community leaders and nonprofit organizations present at our weekly meetings to help us members stay up-to-date on current events and community needs.
- Throughout the year, we engage in a variety of projects that serve our community, build friendships, and create networking opportunities.
